This week a very different blogger about beauty and travel, her name is Marya from Indonesia. “Now that I only fly as a passenger, I always make sure to add at least 15 kgs for my checked-in bag. What’s inside? Clothes, make-up and stuff.”
Two things that left a really nice impression for me towards Bangka are the kaolin lake and beautiful beaches there. Once a massive mining kaolin area in Bangka, Air Bara Kaolin Lake has been formed as the mining activity in the area was stopped. The area has been abandoned ever since and the lake was formed from the rainwater reserved in the former mining area. Kaolin is mineral clay used for industrial purposes, especially for cosmetics and toothpaste. And the ironic part was that the kaolin lake was formed as there is nothing left in the area to exploit industrially. The mining industry has left various stories in Bangka, from commercial success to ironic economic depression and ecological disaster. And what happened to this kaolin lake was what is supposed to be an ecological disaster that turned out to be something beautiful. What you see in the picture, it is ten times better when you see it with your naked eyes. Also well-known with their cuisines, Bangka has got some serene beaches that make you feel like you are in a private island somewhere.
😆 . #RanselUngu #thebeautraveler #instatravel #travel #traveling #travelling #solotraveler #femalesolotraveler #travelingwithfriends #coupletraveler #familyholiday #jalanjalan #jalanjajan #jalanjalancantik #jalanjalanpintar #merdeka #merdekauntukku #artimerdeka #dirgahayuindonesia #17agustus1945 #indonesia #wonderfulindonesia #warkopdki #donokasinoindro
