Christmas lights in Torino

Those Christmas lights
Light up the street
Down where the sea and city meet
May all your troubles soon be gone
Oh Christmas lights keep shining on

Watch the video "Christmas in Torino"

Colors and lights give me lots of joy and peace. A circle of bright colors wakes your brain up and gives lots of energy. Suddenly you want to color and paint. Yes, painting, like children who find their creative inspiration in a drawing and they are fully satisfied when they come back home: look mom! they say. And they are really proud of that drawing now in the middle of the kitchen: the first one and not the last one. Honestly, I don’t remember if I colored so much when I was a child, but I am quite sure about today. Today I totally appreciate every single color I capture through the eye of my reflex. Colors fascinate me. Especially on Christmas.

I don’t remember how many times I walked along these streets. Maybe thousand times. When? In a life that I consider another life and not part of me anymore. But this year my Christmas gift was coming back in that life and walking in those streets and spend good time there. Me and them, together one more time. I needed to remember that my past is always a good guide for my future, and on these words wish you the best Christmas ever:

If this was the last day of your life
What would you do to make things right?
Well, this is the last day of your life
Who you gonna call to make things right?

I walked between Christmas lights.

Ecco, come mi aspettavo sono bellissime! Sì, devo ritornare nel periodo di Natale – e poi, in generale, apprezzo moltissimo la città!

We were in Turin in 2016 and it was a beautiful city then and when you portray it during Christmas time it is even more beautiful. We loved the buildings and the main square with the nice shops. We even walked in a huge park with a friend and saw a ton of interesting sights. Love Turin.

I knew Italy was beautiful but Turin at Christmas time definitely takes the cake, especially with the sunset photo. I love Christmas lights, so this definitely a place I’d be interested in visiting next winter.

Your video, photographs, and what you’ve written — this is an all around beautiful post. I miss Italy so much, and the Christmas vibe really reinforces it as a second home that I can’t wait to go back to. If you don’t mind me asking, what kind of camera do you use? Really brilliant imagery.

I’ve never been in Turin, but I heard people talking about it’s beauty. I love cities during Christmas time, even if I don’t really like Christmas.
