5 unusual places to discover
Lately we learnt Lanzarote is a place of details. Details are not just details but great characteristics of an object or even a person. This island is rich of details, colors and shapes. We are photographers so we are always looking for different colors to enhance every time we walk around the island. Here our 5 colorful places we want to show you today.
1. Playa Quemada
This is a very tiny fishermen’s village, Playa Quemada is located just after Puerto Calero. Here the sunset is a very magic moment: orange and the black of volcanic sand are the main protagonists of your picture. Once there you just want to sit on a boat and waiting for the night.
2. BODEGA LOS ALMACENES
A journey is not an unforgettable journey without exploring local places and local craft shops. If you like wine tasting, Bodega Los Almacenes has very good typical wines and cheeses. If don’t like any of them, you can just enjoy the great view: it looks like a Van Gogh‘s painting without sunflowers but cactus.
3. MIRADOR DE EL RISCO DE FAMARA E PARQUE EL BOSQUECILLO
600 meters of altitude and you can meet clouds are dancing and running. Probably you also need a pullover because it is colder, but not bad after a long day under the sun on the beach. Here nature shows you its characteristics and beauty. We loved so much a plant with little snails on it.

4. Market in Mancha Blanca
Also fruits and vegetables were protagonists of our pictures. Red, yellow and green are main colors at the agricultural market of Mancha Blanca. You find the market every Saturday from 9am until 2pm.
5. Arrieta e Mojon Blanco
These two places are background of our last work. We have been on the very white sand of Mojon Blanco with a very nice family who wanted having a memory of their holiday in Lanzarote. This sand is one of the most soft and white you can find in Lanzarote. 10 minutes by car from there, you find Arrieta, a little village with boats and typical canary street.
